At six, Busch could drive around the Cul-de-sac of where he lived in a makeshift Go-Kart under the instructions of his father, Tom.
As a little boy, Busch matured in the family’s garage together with his older brother Kurt. This boy no wonder, at the age of ten his brother Kurt could rely on him as a crew chief for his dwarf car team. Following the age discrimination of Busch in the previous event, NASCAR filled the gap by setting a requirement of minimum 18 years of age to be accommodated in the team.
