Chesley was born on January 23, 1951, in Denison, Texas, USA. His father ‘Chesley Burnett Sullenberger’ was a dentist, and mother ‘Marjorie Pauline’ was an elementary school teacher. He was a scholar student during schooldays.
Chesley completes his schooling from Denison high school and perused graduation in 1979 from the University of Northern Colorado. There was one Air Force base near Chesley’s home, and he used to see military jets every day, and that was a reason he became fond of the jets.
