Dear Todd Richard Pedersen,
I’ve been with your company for over a year and everything was going perfect until I moved my services from California to Las Vegas Nevada.
I first authorized a payment with your company to charge my checking debit card for $21.47. A technician was dispatched out for a new service installation and I explained this was a move and provided him with my smart home device and in home camera I brought with me from California. So he waiting for about 20 to 30 minutes for the office to adjust the records to show me as a move. The technician completed the job and I was not given an invoice of the final charges.
The next thing I noticed was a charge not authorized by me in the amount of an additional $2049.74 taking from my checking account. So I followed up and was offered a $25 credit to my account for future billing, $99 would be charged for the installation and I would be credited back $1950.74 in 3-5 business days. I waited and still no refund so I checked my Vivint account and once again your company made an era and credited my refund to my Vivint account instead of my checking account. I also, explained that I’m still paying Citizens One monthly payments on the equipment so I should not have to pay for double. AND IT WAS UNAUTHORIZED.
By now you can understand that I had to contact my bank to file a claim so that incoming transaction would not be rejected because of insufficient funds.
It is my hope that this would never happen any of your other clients in the future.
(510) 917-9580 is the number associated with my Vivint account.
Thank you for time.
Perhaps the worse hardware installation I have experienced in my life. The installer first discussed his issues with obtaining drugs, which should have been a red flag. He then installed the wall power unit and other hardware, he said should there be any problems just to text him. Within 30 minutes of his leaving the system failed, it was not hooked up to power. We texted him 5 times with no response. Then we received phone calls stating our system was on a battery not power, we explained we knew that. After going around and around with customer service they said a service technician would stop to review in 2 weeks. We thought after spending $2500.00 for the hardware that was not acceptable. Finally Vivint said they would pick up the equipment. They arrived and the person said they were at our house to repair not remove the equipment. The customer service is just a joke.
