  6. During the height of Mickey Gilley’s music career and prior to Mickey Gilley’s nightclub burning down, my mother-in-law, a master watercolorist painted Mickey Gilley’s Hot Air Balloon which included a small image of Mickey with his Cowboy Hat on riding inside the balloon. She made several attempts to make an appointment appointment with Mickey Gilley to show it to him for possible interest in purchasing it from her. Unfortunately, she never got past Sherwood Cryer resulting in Mickey never seeing this find original painting. My dear Mother-in-Law passed away on December 1, 2018. Our family still owns this original painting. If anyone knows how to contact Mr. Mickey, I would like the honorable oppprtunity to meet Mr Mickey in person to honor him to show him this jewel of a painting personally. It would be a treasured heirloom for him to pass down to his future generations. My email address is [email protected]
