  1. He did not co-found Twenty One Pilots. It was Tyler and his friends Nick Thomas and Chris Salih from college. Josh never went to college.

    • and he used to poop in his diapers too! Let’s see, what other negative things can Erica say? Hmmm. Well, he admits he acted terribly to his parents/family – so there’s that. Gee, what else?
I’ll bet he pilfered something at some point in his life. Yeah! How awful.
You know what, Erica? He has more talent in his drumsticks alone than most people reading this, and he appears to be a very solid, good person – a true friend and inspirational companion who made Twenty One Pilots a true success. So there’s that. He is a genuine good guy, humble, and true to his music and his friends. I don’t think you will anywhere find Josh nor Tyler claiming that Josh “co-founded” Twenty One Pilots. That somebody else perhaps mistakenly wrote that in an article in no way detracts from, nor diminishes Josh’s immeasurable contribution which makes the group what it is today and has been since it came into the consciousness of the greater community.
Oh- and “Josh never went to college” is just a cheap shot. C’mom Erica. Josh never received a medical degree, nor was he ever the world’s top astrophysicist. He did, however, crack the code and solve the runes. and the “enigma machine” is no longer an enigma thanks in great part to his contributions. But yeah, he never cured cancer, and should not be attributed with any such claim, says Erica, who knows all and has possession of all jealousy and that which is vain.

      • Bro, you seriously gotta to chill the f*ck out. Erica was literally just clearing up a few things the article got wrong. Everything she said was true. And her saying Josh never went to college was simply to further clarify how he was not in fact a part of the initial Twenty One Pilots group. She was in no way attempting to discredit or diss him for anything.
On the contrary, I believe the fact that she knows enough about the man to point out a couple flaws in the article shows she is a big fan and not a hater. Its unfair of you to lash out at her on the simple assumption that the things she said were meant to be taken in a negative light, with no context or proof whatsoever.
Josh is, hands down, my favorite drummer of all time, and I admire his early commitment and motivation to learn on his own. And the way both he and Tyler just absolutely loose themselves in the music has deeply inspired me since the days of “Regional at Best.”
I am so with you on that much, Tim. And I think Erica is as well.
