I Think this Man had a great career. I was burned in 1957. I listened to his music forever. He is the best singer in the world. I’ve got several of his albums, and I go just about everyday and listen to his music. I so wish I could have met him. He had a lot of Love songs that were winners.
David is a great guy. I saw him while I was working in a food court with his wife prior to a concert around 1999 in Hobart, Tasmania. Saw him rehearsing that evening and went to see him in concert that night. He played us a lot of great songs. It was then that I realised “Everything I Own” was written for his father when he mentioned it. He talked about his farm and etc.
I would go to see his concert again if he came back. I know he is enjoying his retirement and I wish him and Jo all the best. Thank you for all the fantastic songs you’ve given us. All the best
