This did not go for a long time because it was cancelled in 2000, where the author discovered that Tite was in a dire of emotional trauma when he was writing. Kubo later confirmed that he was not used to the Magazine Weekly Serialization and in most cases he relied on the comments of the editor instead of his ideas.

Next was his Bleach series which was a story relating to a high school student who changed to a shinigami and started fighting creatures by name Hollows. The series began running in the magazine weekly in 2001. Kubo at first thought the series Serialization would continue for less than five years. Immediately after the cancellation of Zombie Powder, this story the Bleach was submitted to Weekly Shonen Jump, but this did not go through. Kubo was disappointed by the rejection, but Akira Toriyama who was the creator of Dragon Ball encountered in the story and wrote a letter to Kubo for encouragement.

This series of Bleach continued for 15 years of Serialization going past 686 chapters. That is from 2001 to 2016. Moreover, an anime familiarisation was featured on TV Tokyo for a period of 8 years ranging from 2004 to 2008 with more than 366 episodes. Kubo also involved Makoto Matsubara to co-author two novelisations of Breach Series published by Shueisha under their Jump Books label. They are starting with Breach Movie. They released it in Japan in 2006, 16th December. Later in the following years, Kubo was featured in many other movies. He first visited America in 2008.
