Alexey Pajitnov stepped in the world on 14 March 1956 in the lands of Moscow of the Soviet Union. Pajitnov, being starred for Tetris, had his inspiration from his childhood toys. In his childhood, he had been an expert in solving puzzles and played with pentominotoys. Tetris, his creation in 1984, would be impossible without the help of Dmitri Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov.

Since Pajitnov was employed under the Soviet Government, he was not accustomed to the royalties. Later in 1996, The Tetris Company (his initiative) with Henk Rogers helped in the Super NES version of Yoshi’Scookies, Pandoras Box, which emphasizes complex jigsaw puzzles.
