Caitlyn Marie was born Bruce Jenner in Mount Kisco, New York. She is the daughter of Esther Ruth Jenner and William Hugh Jenner. She had a younger brother named Burt, who died of a road accident in 1976. As a young child, Jenner suffered from dyslexia. For her studies, Jenner went to Sleepy Hollow High School, in Sleepy Hollow. For her junior and senior years, she attended Newton High school, graduating in 1968.

Prior to the gender transition, Jenner had walked down the aisle three times. The first marriage was to Chrystie Scott, which took place in 1972, and they divorced in 1981. They have a son and a daughter. The second marriage was to actress Linda Thompson in 1981. The two also have two sons, but their love came to an end in 1986.

Jenner married Kris Kardashian in April 1991 after dating for five months. They were blessed with two daughters.  During the time of their marriage, Jenner was the step-father of Kris’s children from her previous marriage. In 2013 the two separated, and their divorce was finalized in 2014.
