Jinder Mahal was born on 19th July 1986 in Calgary, Alberta, in Canada. He was inspired by his career since he was young because his uncle, Gama Singh, was also a professional wrestler. His uncle was so popular around the 1980s and was a legend to the Stampede Wrestling and later joined World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which later changed its name to WWE. Career
Mahal began his career early in his life when he began to be trained by Rick Bognar at Martial Arts Fitness Center. He did his first match at Premier Martial Arts Wrestling (PMW), where he took the name of Raj Dhesi. He was training together with Allen Coage, Gerry Morrow, Natalya, Tyson Kidd, and Viktor. He joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2010, where he took the ring name, Jinder Mahal. He joined the WWE SmackDown episode on April 29, 2011. He was together with Great Khali and Ranjin Singh.
He teamed up with Drew Mclntyre and Heather Slater after him, and Mclntyre interfered with Slater’s match by attacking Brodus Clay, who was wrestling with Slater.
