  1. I see that he served our military for two years. I’m wondering if he has sought help from the VA for his medical help for Alzheimer’s. And anything else he may need. And his net worth is a million dollars. It’s sad that he has a go fund me page.

  2. The million and a half net worth is most likely a simple home near Hollywood…crazy prices. Johnny never seemed like a money grabber but rather a fun loving, fine man with simple tastes. I donated to Gofund and have no fear his needs are exaggerated. Best wishes to a good, decent man in such poor health. Medicare would pay the bulk of expenses but so many other needs.

    • johny my daughter inlaws uncle was in the army with you his name is larry oda he told me abought you he has a few hourses and farms a lot he would like to hear from you . hea getting old remebers a few things about you.

  3. Johnny is a great actor. On The Rifleman he was SUPERB! To this day I still watch the reruns on TV in the afternoons. He still has the same smile! As to his finances, I read in another site that he was in need of money perhaps due to his reported illness. I was thinking that perhaps contacting Ellen DeGeneres of ‘The Ellen Show’ she could be of help? She is often very generous to people who are in need and no doubt would want to hear about and help our wonderful Johnny! Take care, Johnny! You are still the greatest! May God be with you and heal you.

  4. 1.5 million means very little these days. It could be an accumulation of a lifetime of struggle and work and would only buy a small place to live in many US cities– leaving very little left to support a person. Johnny Crawford still brings a flood of emotion to many hearts. Any medical condition can wipe out a lifetime of savings. I really feel that he was such a genuine person and an accumulation of wealth would not be one of his priorities. Unfortunately, everything nowadays seems to be focused on money. Proper health care, an essential, can wipe out everything. I’ll have to look on here to see how to donate any little bit that can help. I’m responding to what I’ve read about his struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

    • Are you kidding? 1.5 Mil? He could sell the house, move into a lower cost community and have over a million in the bank. Most people would love that!

  14. I loved the show and Mr Crawford but he was not very smart and always did what he was told not to do and for being the riflemans son he was to small in other words that acorn fell off that tree and rolled down a hill and what’s with his description being metric kg and meters????

  15. I met Johnny and Charlotte at The Edgewater Casino in Laughlin, NV when he was doing a home show there. He really is a great person! He is so down to earth! Very easy to love! A month later we were invited to go to Kingman, AZ. Fairgrounds where he had another show and we went to dinner with his crew! The memories of Johnny and Charlotte along with Paul Petersen and Bobby Crawford will be with me always! I adored Johnny!
