Patti LaBelle was born in 1944 on 24 May as Patricia Louise Holt-Edwards. She was born to Henry and Bertha Holte in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her father’s and mother’s careers were railway workers and domestic, respectively. LaBelle has three siblings, and only one of them was younger than her. They are all female.
