Peter Palndjian was born on the 12th of February 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts, the U.S. to parents, Sheila Kelly Palandjian and Petros A. Palandjian. Coming to his education, he has attended Phillips Academy Andover, after which he went to Harvard University. He had a prominent varsity career there, captaining the Harvard Team twice and even played in NCAA championships in both singles and doubles. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature following which he went to study at the Harvard Business School.

Peter Palandjian married Eliza Dushku in August of 2018, and a year later, they welcomed their son, Philip. He has four children, Manon Palandjian, Petros Palandjian, Margot Palandjian, and Madelon Palandjian, from his previous marriage with Marie-Louise “Minou” Palandjian. His highest ranking was at No. 175 on the 10th of July 1989 and has won six ATP Challenger Doubles titles in his career. He retired from playing Tennis professionally in 1989. After his retirement, he went on to work with Bain & Company. There, he worked as an Associate for two years.
