Net Worth & Salary of Russell Nelson in 2024
As of December 2024, His net worth is estimated around $2 million. In a popular Mormon Leak site, it was revealed that authorities get more than $120,000 a year.
Russell M Nelson is one of the oldest authorities on Catholic Christian traditions and the religion in general. He has also been a pioneer in the medical field, becoming an enterprise of medicine. He has served the Army and hence has huge support from all communities despite controversies.
You make it sound as though being paid $120,000 annually is some kind of a scandal! I see it as incredibly frugal and efficient use of church funds. Anywhere else in America the president of this size organization would be paid several million a year plus stock options!
Nelson’s net worth is in excess of 2 million dollars, the 120,000 is merely a retainer not a wage,no one person can become a prophet ,seer or a revalant if the CULT was started by a lay person,it is run on the lines of the Mafia.
Nelson recorded 120,000 a year leading a multi million member organization, requiring world travel and aggressive leadership. His net worth has to De with the properties and stock’s and savings acquired from his many Years service as a leading and pioneering surgeon. He would make more money as a surgeon than as a church leader. Don’t Try and paint him with the same colors as Rolex wearing rolls Royce driving mega rich pastors. He is not. Frankly I have a son in law who makes as much money. 120,000 isn’t much by executive standards today.
Jeremiah
11:9
And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Yea there is a conspiracy in the church. The members have been lied to in many different areas. Among the lies is they claim there is no paid clergy. Well that is a flat out lie! They don’t pay bishops and stake presidents, but they DO pay missions presidents and all the GA’s including the apostles and the prophet. They get over $120,000 per year. They also get a lot of benefits that add up to a lot more than that. I know this because my father-in-law was a general authority and got paid. He told them he didn’t want the money and they told him he had to take it. He worried that being paid to serve the lord fell under PRIESTCRAFT. He took the money because they forced him to take it.
Nelson’s personal wealth stands at 2 million dollars, the Mormon CULT ( and that is what it is ) is run like the Mafia, forcing people to work in their mines and other interests,a disgusting purge on humanity.
you guys are talking nonsense. Mind your own business and never talk negative about our church President. All what you stated here are not true.
Don’t worry Mackenzie we can’t save everyone.
You’re a moron, do some research.
Our church helps others all the time and we love all. Even though we do not have similar view points I still wish the best for you.
The Church of Jesus Christ is Christian Religion. We have faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ for our sins. We Believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Redeemer. Mormon and Joseph Smith were prophets who bore testimony that Jesus is the Son of God. Our members work on a volunteer basis for the Church. With a willing heart, not by fear but by faith. We are happy to give of our time, and find joy in doing service for our neighbors, our community and our church. We believe in self sufficiency, and being able to provide for our own selves and our own households. Much of the negative comments are based not on experience within the church, but word of mouth and fear. Even Christ had people who hated him, as did Ghandi, Martin Luther and Lincoln. Think for yourself, dont just believe hatespeach
I would like to receive in excess of $120,000 to be a leader in your church. Nowhere that I have found does it say what the president of your church receives as a Living allowance. I know that is not the only “allowance” he receives. It’s a joke when all LDS people say the leaders of the church are not paid for what they do.
I support the positive comments and as for the negative ones I suggest they go and check their facts before sprouting off rubbish , and as for the Net worth of President Nelson that is money that he worked for and earned it had nothing to do with the Church and as for the 120,000 a year that is false too , as members of the Church everyone except actual employees of the church who do a specific job in support of the church`s operations are paid, everyone from Pres. Nelson down to local leaders are all Lay ministers and receive no form of salary , I would say that the 120.000 is more than likely expenses being repaid to him for things he has spent out relating to his office like any other member of the church , just like any representative of an organisation he has to entertain guests from all over the world and the church will re-imburse those expenses , so its not a salary get it right ..
There’s so much false news in here. For one, if he was born into a family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he would’ve been baptized at age 8, not age 16. Additionally, NO church authorities are paid, from the top general church authorities to the local bishopric members. No one applies to any position in the church – they are called and ordained by members of the church. Get the facts right before posting them online.
Well said
heres a fact, the church is founded by a pedofile. Research it and tell me “it was a different time”…because I’m sure pedofilia still going on in the 20th century.
MJ Marks, if you’re accusing Joseph Smith of pedophilia, I believe you are deceived. Many false accusations were made about the Prophet.
“We will heed them not.” Period.
Eye on our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is all that matters.
Spiritual Momentum, 4/2022. “We are followers of the Prince of Peace. Now more than ever we need the peace only he can bring”. Our seeking peace and harmony is essential for peace in the world, so while some comments are disturbing just walk away and don’t read them, they are words. Celebrate similarities and respect the right to have differences even when presented falsely and without factual information. Regards, M.
He was a cardiothoracic surgeon you boneheads. He had a very prestigious career before he was called as the prophet. Y’all are just jealous because he worked hard and made a successful career. Good for him. As for the other General Authirities making 120,000 yearly, have you looked at the cost of property in the Utah valley? We can’t afford to live there! It doesn’t matter what any of these people do, you hate, just to hate, and you’re so satisfied and smug. I’m glad we don’t want or need your prayers.
I can save the Great Salt Lake. My name is Orville Mallott I live in Federal Way WA and am a member of LDS. I will show you how to save the Lake if you visit my home. It won’t cost Billion’s, but the cost will be in the Million’s, and I believe we can get the IMF to pay for it because there are 11 major cities around the world that also need to be saved. I believe I am the only one on earth who can accomplish this task when you contact our LDS branch you will find who I claim to be. Maybe I am maybe not. You decide after talking to me. I also have solutions for nearly every other problem on Earth.
What do you mean by “controversial LDS church”? Could the same adjective be used the describe any opther church?
You left out that he’s a member of the skull n bones and that the leadership is nepotistic among other nefarious attributes.
