Lee was born on 12 December 1990 in Gwangju, South Korea. As a kid, he loved dancing and singing, and at an early age, he decided that he will make his career in the entertainment industry. He appeared in the survival program ‘Let’s Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa’ to become the next Shinhwa, a sixth member of the Seoul boy band, but was eliminated in the ninth episode.
