Oh really? How many illegitimate children did he father? How many times has he been sued for non paying money that he owed to someone or some company?
He is white ….NONE
He’s a great guy in many ways and made a number of unfortunate decisions, which he completely acknowledges. He’s not worth $6 million because after quite a few years of high salaries, though nothing like today’s money, he got all the way to zero and had to start over with speaking engagements and card signings. However, he lives well in Palm Desert and we can be glad he’s got some calmness back in his life. Had he been born a few years later he would have $50 million in the bank, but then Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale never got paid nearly what Garvey did, so it works in both directions.
